Mental Health Care Plan
(MHCP)
This is completed with your GP and entitles you to up to ten sessions per calendar year. Having a MHCP enables you to claim a medicare rebate on your consultation fee.
Please note there is a GAP FEE payable on most appointments unless otherwise discussed with your clinician. Please ask about gap fee’s when booking your initial appointment.
Department of Veterans’ Affairs
(DVA)
Also completed with your GP, if eligible this entitles you to 12 sessions or 1 calendar year, which ever comes first.
NDIS
(NATIONAL DISABILITY INSURANCE SCHEME)
For people with a current NDIS plan, both plan managed and self-managed. Please consult at the time of referral regarding the ‘Helping Children with Autism’ Initiative. In some circumstances NDIS funding may be used for group programs.
Workers Compensation
If you have sustained a workplace injury you can see a psychologist through workers compensation funded under work cover. You will require a referral from your GP and or insurer with the necessary approval to access these services.
Private Clients
(Without NDIS or MHCP)
If you do not have a MCHP you may present privately with no referral. Please email referral information to admin@therapycollective.au. There is no limit to the number of sessions however a medicare rebate will not be available.
Private Health Insurance
If you have private health insurance, you may be entitled to a rebate from your insurer.
Please note claiming facilities for private health insurance are not available at the clinic and no rebate will be provided at the time of your appointment
